Privacy notice

This page explains what personal information I collect through this website, why I collect it, and what I do with it.

Who I am

I'm Biba Boele, a freelance trainer, consultant, and IQA. I'm responsible for the personal information you share with me through this website. You can contact me at training@bibaboele.com or on 07881 782976.

What I collect

If you send an enquiry through the form, I collect what you type into it: your name, your organisation, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give one, the area you're interested in, and your message. If you email or call me directly, I will have the details you share that way.

Why I collect it

I use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you go on to book training or consultancy with me, to arrange it. I don't use them for marketing, and I don't sell them or share them with anyone else.

My legal basis is legitimate interests. It is reasonable for me to use your details to respond to someone who has contacted me.

Where your information goes

The enquiry form sends your message to me by email. The website doesn't keep a copy of enquiries in a database. Because the message travels by email, it passes through my website host and my email provider.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiries for as long as I need them to respond and to manage any work that follows, and no longer than that.

Cookies, fonts, and spam protection

This website doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. It loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers when you visit a page.

The enquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real visitors from automated spam. When the form loads, your browser sends some technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, to Cloudflare so it can run that check. You can read how Cloudflare handles information in its privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. You can also object to how I use it. Just get in touch using the details above.

If you're unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
